Trump’s Businesses Lost Big in 2017, Except His D.C. Hotel
President Donald Trump took a nine-figure income hit during during his first year in the White House, according to newly released financial records.
But a few of his properties bucked the trend, including the hotel bearing his name just blocks from the White House.
The president’s 2017 income from 50 companies with assets including residential buildings, hotels, golf clubs, licensing deals, and development contracts totaled $409,055,418, per his disclosure on Wednesday. That is a hefty sum. But it falls well short of what he brought in just one year prior when his income level was $538,859,009.
